On the 244th anniversary of our great nation, I reflect on the past and look to the future.
No ranting or raving about politics here. It’s not in my character, nor do I think it’s a good use of my time. My opinion is my opinion and it will forever stay private. I’m more of a ‘One Man, One Vote’ person.
Suffice to say, we all want a brighter future for our children and one we can be proud of. We may differ on the road we take to get there, but if we can find common ground and band together, I believe anything is possible. The American spirit may be a bit tarnished these days, but I believe it’s still alive and well.
Freedom, peace, equality and a life worth living still ring true with many of us and should prove a good starting point.
